A man was shot early Sunday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The 41-year-old was standing about about 2:25 a.m. in the 5400 block of South Winchester when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
