Man shot on SW Side

A 19-year-old man was shot in the arm Sunday afternoon in Chicago Lawn on the Southwest Side.

He told investigators he heard gunshots about 5 p.m. in the 6000 block of South Sawyer and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

A bullet also grazed his back, police said. He was taken in good condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
