A 29-year-old man was wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting late Thursday on the West Side.

About 11:35 p.m., he was outside in the 4800 block of West Gladys when he got into a fight with another man who pulled out a gun and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the lower back and both legs. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
