Man wounded in Englewood shooting

A man was shot in the Englewood neighborhood late Friday.

The 18-year-old was outside in the 5500 block of South Shields about 11:11 p.m. when someone in a passing white Nissan sedan shot him in the left leg, police said.

He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
