Boy, 17, shot in hand in South Side alley

A 17-year-old boy was shot in his left hand around 5:15 p.m. Saturday by someone driving past in a sport-utility vehicle in the 5100 block of South Ada Street in Back of the Yards on the South Side, according to the police, who said he was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition.
