A 37-year-old man was found shot to death early Saturday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

Jewneus Clifford Wilson was found about 2:35 a.m. by officers responding a call of a person down in the 2600 block of West Wilcox Street, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Wilson, of the 7800 block of South South Shore Drive, had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:57 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.
