Bank robbed in Oak Lawn

Someone robbed a bank Friday afternoon in southwest suburban Oak Lawn.

The non-takeover robbery happened about 1 p.m. at the TCF Bank branch at 10350 S. Pulaski Road in Oak Lawn, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

The robber was described as a man in his 40s, the FBI said. He wore a red sweatshirt, sunglasses and an Arizona Cardinals baseball hat.

The FBI was offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the robber.
