A body was pulled from Lake Michigan Tuesday morning in the Gold Coast.

Someone called 911 about 11:45 a.m. to report an object in the water at Ohio Street Beach in the 600 block of North Lake Shore Drive, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The police Marine Unit responded and found the decomposed body, police said.

The person has not yet been identified, according to the medical examiner’s office. An autopsy Wednesday did not rule on cause and manner of death, with results pending further investigation.
