45-year-old man shot in Back of the Yards alley

A 45-year-old man was shot Monday night in a Back of the Yards alley on the South Side.

About 9:15 p.m., he was in the alley in the 4900 block of South Seeley when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. He had been shot in the lower back.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
