SWAT team arrests man in West Lawn

A man was taken into custody by a SWAT team Sunday night in the West Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Officers responded to a “domestic disturbance” about 8:10 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Karlov Avenue when they heard a gun fired from the upstairs, Chicago Police said.

A SWAT team was called to the address and a man was later arrested, police said. No injuries were reported.

A weapon was recovered from the scene, police said.
