Man shot while standing on sidewalk in Homan Square

A man was wounded in a shooting early Sunday in the West Side Homan Square neighborhood.

The 30-year-old was standing on a sidewalk about 1:40 a.m. in the 3600 block of West Lexington when another male shot him in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating the shooting.
