Man shot in West Lawn

A man was shot early Saturday in the West Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 29-year-old man was shot when he approached a red minivan and a male inside fired shots at 3:56 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Karlov, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot multiple times in the arm and leg. He took himself to Holy Cross Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating the shooting.
