Man wounded in Austin shooting

A man was shot Thursday morning in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 18-year-old man was shot in his right foot about 9:50 a.m. in the 5800 block of West Chicago, according to Chicago Police. Two male suspects left the area in a black vehicle.

The man was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized.
