A statewide Silver Alert has been cancelled after an 82-year-old man missing from Lafayette, Indiana returned home.

The alert was issued Saturday afternoon for Paul Howard Skees, who had not been seen since about 1:30 p.m. and was believed to be in extreme danger, according to the Indiana State Police.

Skees returned home on Saturday evening, according to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office.
