A woman was shot Saturday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

About 4:55 p.m., the 27-year-old was in the rear of her home in the 600 block of North Hamlin when a red car drove up though an alley and someone inside fired shots, Chicago Police said.

She was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
