A man was killed after he was struck by a car Saturday night in west suburban Aurora.

About 11:10 p.m., 37-year-old Larenzo Bryant, of Aurora, was walking on Long Grove Drive when a 2013 Buick Regal traveling west on Ogden Avenue hit him, according to Aurora Police and the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.

The coroner’s office said he died of the injuries he suffered when he was struck.

A 19-year-old Aurora man was driving the Buick with a 19-year-old female passenger from Oswego, police said.

Ogden Avenue was temporarily closed between Frotenac Street and Eola Road as the scene was being investigated, police said.

No tickets were issued pending further investigation, police said.
