A man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

About 7:15 p.m., the 20-year-old was in the 1500 lock of East 69th Street when two armed males walked up and shot him in both legs, according to Chicago Police. The shooters then ran off.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.
