A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

At 2:12 p.m., the 21-year-old was in the 600 block of North Ridgeway when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking him in the right thigh, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating the shooting.
