Man wounded in Roseland shooting

A man was shot Saturday evening in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 23-year-old man was standing in the street at 6:02 p.m. in the 300 block of West 113th Street when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
