A 29-year-old man was shot early Sunday in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

The man was walking outside about 2:40 a.m. in the 7100 block of Martin Luther King Drive when he was shot in the leg, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.

Detectives were investigating the shooting.
