A man was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 38-year-old was standing on the sidewalk when he heard shots and felt pain at 5:23 p.m. in the 4800 block of West Kinzie Street, Chicago Police said.

He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his arms and legs. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.
