Man shot by bicyclist in West Garfield Park

A man was wounded in a shooting Sunday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 24-year-old was sitting in a vehicle at 12:14 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Maypole when someone rode up on a bicycle and shot him in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating the shooting.
