Man shot in neck, critically wounded in Rosemoor

A man was shot and critically wounded Monday evening in the Rosemoor neighborhood on the Far South Side.

At 5:08 p.m., the 22-year-old was driving east on 95th Street when he stopped at a red light at Cottage Grove and the driver of a light-colored SUV fired shots and continued eastbound, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
