Man, 34, shot dead in West Garfield Park

A man was shot to death Tuesday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

At 9:33 p.m., 34-year-old Archie Harris, of Roselle, was found shot multiple times in the backyard of a home in the 4700 block of West Congress Parkway, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Area North detectives were conduction a homicide investigation.
