Man fatally stuck by vehicle Lisle

A 62-year-old man was killed Friday after being hit by a vehicle in west suburban Lisle.

About 10:20 p.m., Lisle police responded to reports of a crash near College Road and Maple Avenue and found the man on the ground and unresponsive, according to Lisle police.

He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old man, initially drove away north on College Road, but then returned to the scene of the crash, police said. He was cited for failure to render aid.
