Riot Fest

Heading to Riot Fest next month? Listen closely. That sound you hear just might be the flip-tops popping on beer cans.

The daily set times were announced Thursday for the fest, which runs Sept. 13-15 in Douglas Park. And for those at the festival, all you’ll need is a cold brew to keep the schedule/set times handy. Literally.

Introducing Riot Fest Sucks Pale Ale, a new light amber-colored American Pale Ale courtesy of Goose Island Brewing — available in specially designed cans complete with pull-away labels that reveal daily schedules, stages and set times for every band.

The beer, according to Thursday’s announcement, “has a crisp, balanced hop aroma, citrus flavor, and notes of lightly toasted malt — a perfect beer for a mediocre festival!”

It’s only available at the fest and in limited quantities.

No need to wait till you arrive at the festival: check out the set times listed below or get the full rundown here.
