Man fatally shot in Harvey

A man was shot to death Friday in south suburban Harvey.

The 25-year-old was shot multiple times about 1:35 a.m. in the 14800 block of South Morgan Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead less than 15 minutes later.

The medical examiner’s office has not identified the man, but conducted an autopsy Saturday and ruled his death a homicide.

Harvey police did not immediately return a request for details about the shooting.
