$1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Lake View

Two people in Illinois won $1 million Powerball prize Thursday.

A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $1,000,000 was sold at a gas station in Lake View.

That ticket, sold at Amoco gas station at 1200 W. Belmont Ave., was among five Illinois winners in Wednesday’s Powerball, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Another $1,000,000-winning ticket was sold in downstate Sterling, while two $150,000 tickets were sold in suburban Arlington Heights and Schaumburg.

One lucky player in Maryland won the Powerball jackpot of $730 million.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 40, 53, 60, 68, 69 and 22.

The winner’s haven’t been announced.
