The Archdiocese of Chicago announced restructuring plans Monday for several parishes.

St. Hedwig in Bucktown and St. John Berchmans in Logan Square will be united to form a new parish at two worship sites. Both will continue to have a regular schedule of Masses, which might differ from their current schedule, and a new name will be determined at a later date.

There are no structural changes to St. John Berchmans School.

On the Southwest Side, St. Bede the Venerable and St. Denis will be joined to form a new parish, with a new name still to be determined.

The churches will maintain a regular Mass schedule that might differ from their current schedules.

And St. Thomas More parish will become a canonical mission, connected to the newly formed parish of St. Bede and St. Denis.

The changes — to take into effect by July 1 — are part of the archdiocese’s Renew My Church restructuring plan.
