The teen and a man were shot while standing in the 1700 block of North Mango Street, Chicago police said.

A man was stabbed to death Aug. 23, 2022, in River North.

Two people were shot July 27, 2021 in Austin on the West Side.

A 16-year-old boy and a man were wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in Austin on the West Side.

The teen and the 42-year-old man were shot while standing in the 1700 block of North Mango Street just after 7 p.m., Chicago police said.

The teen suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and was transported to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The man was struck in the right leg and taken to West Suburban Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
