The Bears’ injury report remains long and full of big names. Outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee) did not practice Wednesday, while running back Matt Forte (knee) continued to work in limited fashion.

McPhee and Forte did not travel to St. Louis on Sunday because of their knee injuries. Forte is considered closer to returning after he practiced every day last week on a limited basis.

Receiver Alshon Jeffery did not participate in practice during the open-media period, but he was officially listed as limited. Coach John Fox said Jeffery has groin and shoulder injuries.

Jeffery played through his groin ailment against the Rams, which Fox described as a “gutsy” performance on Monday.

Receiver Eddie Royal remains sidelined by his knee injury. He last played on Nov. 1 against the Vikings.

Rookie center Hroniss Grasu (neck), linebacker Shea McClellin (knee) and safety Antrel Rolle (ankle) also were limited. Offensive linemen Jermon Bushrod (shoulder) and Matt Slauson (elbow, ankle) were full participants.
