With Brock Osweiler in the game, the Broncos weren’t expected to open up the game firing. However, on their first possession of the game, Osweiler picked apart the Bears defense.

The touchdown drive took only four plays for the Broncos to move 74-yards down the field. After a long Ronnie Hillman run, Osweiler found Demaryius Thomas wide open over the middle of the field. Thomas took the ball 48-yards into the end zone.

On their two offensive drives to start the game, the Bears were forced to punt both times.

With Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery out with injuries, the Bears may struggle to put up big offensive numbers. If Osweiler’s success continues, it could be a long day for the Bears.
