Brett Favre played with a lot of different players during his 16 seasons, and many of them were on-hand Thursday when the soon-to-be Hall of Fame quarterback had his number retired.

One of the more surprising ex-players on hand was Jim McMahon, the same quarterback who lead the Bears to their only Super Bowl win. While McMahon will always be remembered for his time with the Bears, he finished his career as Favre’s backup in Green Bay.

With the ceremony happening as the Packers played the Bears, more than a few fans noticed McMahon’s attendance. Unsurprisingly, some of them felt betrayed by the Punky QB.

While fans may be angry at McMahon, the former Bears quarterback has done his part to represent the Bears as often as possible. Including his trip to the White House after the Packers won the Super Bowl.
