MINNEAPOLIS — The Bulls announced after the Wednesday shootaround that Lauri Markkanen (right pelvis) will return to the starting lineup against the Timberwolves, after the third-year big man had been sidelined since Jan. 22.

Coincidentally, Markkanen’s last start was in the win over the Minnesota, before the organization made the decision to shut him down because of lingering pain in the pelvis area. Markkanen, who will be on a minutes restriction in the 20-22 area, was averaging 15 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
