Campbell recalls 355,000 cans of SpaghettiOs

The Campbell Soup Co. on Thursday recalled 14.2 ounce cans of SpaghettiOs Original after pieces of red plastic were found in some cans.

The plastic material is part of the can lining and are a choking hazard, the company said in a news release.

The voluntary recall affects 355,000 cans distributed in the United States. The recalled cans have the date February 22, 2017, stamped on the base of the can and a UPC code of 51000 22432 printed under the bar code.

Campbell warned customers not to eat SpaghettiOs from these cans. Customers should return the cans to the store where they were bought for an exchange or a refund.
