President Barack Obama hits Chicago for a few hours on Wednesday to headline two fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee, after a stop in Ann Arbor to rally support to raise the federal minimum wage. Obama is the draw at a roundtable at the Chicago Cut Steakhouse hosted by Mesirow Financial Chairman and CEO Richard Price where about 25 are expected; the tab is up to $32,400. Later, Obama heads to Lincoln Park for a dinner of about 55 who donated up to $10,000–at the Lincoln Park home of Craig Freedman and Grace Tsao-Wu, who is an Obama major donor and fund-raiser.

Later in the morning, the President will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan. The departure from the South Lawn and arrival at Willow Run Airport are open press.

In Ann Arbor, the President will deliver remarks at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor on raising the national minimum wage. The President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.

Following this event, the President will depart Ann Arbor, Michigan en route Chicago, Illinois. The departure from Willow Run Airport and the arrival at Chicago O’Hare International Airport are open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will attend a DNC event. Following this, the President will deliver remarks and answer questions at a DNC dinner. The first event is closed press, and the dinner is open to the print pool for remarks only.
