WASHINGTON – Every sign points to President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle not taking up full-time residence in Chicago after they leave the White House in January, 2017.

We know the Obamas are fond of his native Hawaii, Palm Springs and New York.

I wrote a column how the first couple may not return to Chicago post-presidency last May, after the announcement that they will locate their presidential center on Chicago’s South Side.
