A man robbed a US Bank branch Monday in south suburban Matteson.

The suspect entered the bank at 4:14 p.m. and demanded cash, according to the FBI. He left the building, at 4350 Lincoln Hwy., with an undisclosed amount of money.

He was described as a 6-foot man in his 30s with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes, the FBI said. He was wearing blue Jeans, a dark blue shirt and a baseball cap.

A spokesperson for Matteson police did not immediately respond to a request for additional details.
