2 men wounded in East Garfield Park drive-by

Two men were wounded in a shooting Saturday in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

They were on the sidewalk about 1:43 a.m. in the 3300 block of West Maypole Avenue when someone drove up and opened fire, Chicago police said.

A 32-year old was struck in the jaw, chest, abdomen and leg, police said. The other man, 25, was shot in the foot. Both took themselves to Stroger Hospital.

The older man’s condition was stabilized, and the younger man is in good condition, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
