Two robberies were reported last month in Beverly and Morgan Park on the South Side.
In both incidents, two men approached males who were alone on the street and threatened them with a weapon before taking their property, Chicago police said. In one robbery they had a handgun and in the other, a knife.
The robberies happened about 5:30 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 10500 block of South Western Avenue and about 11 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 10800 block of South Western Avenue, police said.
Police described the suspects as two men in their early 20s who were both about 5 feet, 7 inches. They wore black hoodies and black jeans, and one wore a red vest over his sweatshirt, police said.
