Police are warning residents on the Far South Side of a string of home burglaries reported Sunday in Mount Greenwood.

In each case, someone entered the homes through an unlocked door and took computers, gaming systems and cash, Chicago police said in a community alert.

Three burglaries happened between midnight and 9 a.m. in the 11200 block of South Drake Avenue, police said. A fourth happened between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. in the 11200 block of South Central Park Avenue.

The suspect was described as a man between 18 and 23 years old, police said
