Three burglaries were reported to police in Garfield Ridge in June.

Police are warning Garfield Ridge residents of a recent string of burglaries on the Southwest Side.

Three burglaries were reported to garages and homes, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

They happened:

  • about 8:45 a.m. June 17 in the 4500 block of South Knox Avenue;
  • about 4 a.m. June 19 in the 4500 block of South Lamon Avenue; and
  • about 1 a.m. June 19 in the 4400 block of South Leamington Avenue.
