A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday in Washington Park on the South Side.

He was in a home about 12:30 a.m. in the 200 block of East 55th Place when he was shot in the head and chest, Chicago police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Aaron Brown, of Douglas. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, saying he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
