Smash-and-grab burglars hit a store in the South Loop Sunday.

A group of about four people broke the front window of the store about 11:38 p.m. in the 700 block of South State Street and stole the cash register and other items, according to Chicago police.

The burglars fled in a Nissan SUV, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
