Apartment building burglarized in West Loop: police

In each incident someone pries open the rear door of a multi-unit apartment building and stole property from the lockers in the basement storage area.

Police are warning residents of three burglaries reported in February in West Loop.

In each incident someone pries open the rear door of a multi-unit apartment building and stole property from the lockers in the basement storage area, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The burglaries happened about 4:15 a.m. Feb. 2, 4:55 a.m. Feb. 6, and 2:15 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street, police said.
