Police are warning residents of several home burglaries reported on the North Side of Chicago.

Four homes were broken into Feb. 5 in Logan Square, Hermosa, Avondale and Austin, Chicago police said. The suspect forced open the front or rear door and took items from inside.

The robberies happened in the evening hours in the:

  • 6000 block of West Wabansia Avenue;
  • 4200 block of West Fullerton Avenue;
  • 3000 block of North Haussen Court; and
  • 2500 block of North Avers Avenue.

Police did not immediately have a description of the suspect.
