A 25-year-old woman was fatally shot Tuesday in south suburban Calumet Park.

The shooting happened about 12:05 a.m. in the 12400 block of South Wood Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Nabria Pondexter suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 1:03 a.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy ruled her death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

Calumet Park police didn’t respond to a request for details Tuesday evening.
