A 17-year-old boy was shot as he walked down a street in Gresham on the South Side Sunday.

The teen was shot in the right arm about 7 p.m. after someone approached him and fired in the 1400 block of West 80th Street, Chicago police said.

He was brought to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.

No one was reported in custody.
