A 17-year-old boy was shot late Thursday in Austin on the West Side.

He was outside about 11:15 p.m. in the 900 block of North Lockwood Avenue when he was shot in the leg. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

There was no one in custody, according to police.
