A burglar smashed the glass door of a cellphone store in Ukrainian Village early Tuesday and made off with two cash registers — and an iPad.

Police responded to an alarm at the store in the 2300 block of West Chicago Avenue about 4:10 a.m. and found the door had been shattered with a rock, Chicago police said.

Surveillance video showed a man going into the store and stealing two cash registers and an iPad, police said.

No one was reported in custody.
